Serve consumers online and in-store with the market’s most innovative, AI-powered, user-friendly design, visualization and sales solution

London, UK, December 12, 2024 – Cyncly, the leading global provider of software and content solutions that help make amazing spaces for living, today launched Spaces Flex. The SaaS web app provides a powerful combination of online consumer self-service for inspiration and design, personalized in-store assistance for design and sales, and seamless collaboration with professional designers for 3D space planning.

Spaces Flex supports the full consumer journey across web and in-person retail. The solution combines innovative design capabilities with tools for demand generation, project management, end-to-end project tracking, and integration to connect processes across the enterprise.

Built on a cloud platform that can be accessed from any location and backed by the industry’s most accurate, comprehensive manufacturer catalogs, Spaces Flex helps retailers close deals faster and stay closer to consumers at every step of the process.

“Whether a buyer starts online or in-store, Spaces Flex provides an easy, streamlined experience for both the consumer and the seller. Our early adopters are seeing this solution enhance engagement and drive conversions,” said Wynn Grubbs, General Manager, Kitchen, Bathroom and Furniture Retail Solutions. “We know that the majority of consumers find design inspiration online, and they’re looking for easy ways to turn inspiration into a personalized design. The power of Spaces Flex is that it helps retailers meet consumers where they are and how they want to shop – and to deliver personalized attention on demand.”

Spaces Flex supports multiple consumer journeys:

  • Online experience. Consumers who want to explore independently can create designs online that capture their unique style and preferences. They start by choosing their style preferences from an inspiration gallery on the retailer’s website, which incorporates a range of featured products. Based on a LIDAR measurement of their room using the Cyncly Scan app, or after choosing a preset room layout that matches their space, Spaces Flex 3D Auto Design uses advanced automation to instantly create a 3D-generated design, populated with real products. Consumers can re-generate designs for further ideas, or easily update design elements using intuitive tools, then work with a professional to finalize and buy their new space.
  • In-store assistance. Working collaboratively with the consumer, salespeople can effortlessly create designs using the simple, intuitive tools in Spaces Flex—no design background needed. After consumers choose from their preferred style and room layout, salespeople can explore initial ideas with them using 3D Auto Design. Spaces Flex 3D Room Build then enables the salesperson to design the space, while taking advantage of embedded rules-based automation and intelligent placement features to ensure accuracy and consistency in every design. With the ability to create projects quickly and track each consumer from lead to sale, Spaces Flex streamlines in-store engagement, driving faster conversions and a smoother, mistake-free buying experience. The easy-to-master interface and guided process is perfect for retailers who need to train and onboard sales teams quickly, without compromising on the quality of final designs.
  • Professional design. Working with designers, consumers can share their vision and trust that retailers can bring it to life through professional design capabilities integrated into Spaces Flex. Using the professional-grade design tool integrated with project management and sales capabilities, designers can create a kitchen or bathroom that matches a consumer’s vision. Designers using Cyncly’s professional Flex design software, such as Winner Flex or Design Flex, can accelerate projects by accessing leads created in Spaces Flex, starting projects with full visibility into consumer preferences created during lead qualification.

In every consumer journey, Spaces Flex turns 3D designs into high-quality, realistic renderings that evolve with each stage of the design process. Real-time rendering continues in the background, allowing instant adjustments and offering detailed, lifelike views to help consumers make confident choices. With the ability to work faster and access real-time product data, Spaces Flex accelerates the process from inspiration to purchase.

“Cyncly’s commitment to innovation is clear in every aspect of Spaces Flex,” said Julien Faure, Chief Product Officer. “This product is the result of us taking a close look at retailer’s needs at every step of the sales process and in many cases, creating a solution from first principles. It’s designed to be flexible to meet each retailer’s needs, a joy for consumers and sellers to use, and built on a technology foundation that will enable us to add improvements so customers discover even more value over time.”

Spaces Flex incorporates two innovative applications of AI, designed to accelerate the design and sales process while elevating the consumer experience:

  • Inspire Image to Auto-Design. This groundbreaking feature uses AI to automatically find the right kitchen and bathroom products in one click. Whether online or working with a salesperson in-store, consumers can upload an image of any kitchen or bathroom that inspires them. Cyncly’s AI modules browse the retailer’s catalogues to find products with the perfect match, which can then be used to design a new room that matches the consumer’s available space and preferred layout.
  • Mobile Room Scanner. Consumers can easily capture room dimensions and structural details to kickstart the design process using just an iPhone Pro or iPad Pro. After scanning the room with the device’s built-in LIDAR, AI in Cyncly’s Mobile Room Scanner automatically excludes furniture, fixtures and cabinets, creating a 3D model that serves as canvas for design, including walls, windows and doors. With the dimensions mapped, consumers can then start designing their new space using online design capabilities, or share the 3D scan with their designer.

Spaces Flex is built on Cyncly’s Flex platform, a cloud solution that provides designers, retailers and manufacturers with a flexible solution to adapt, transform, and grow their businesses with agility and scalability.

Flex platform solutions tap into Cyncly’s Content in Cloud, an online database of manufacturer catalogs and 3D assets with rich metadata. With instant access to up-to-date content, Spaces Flex users can ensure inspiration, accuracy, and seamless project flow, including accurate quotations based on live inventory and pricing data for any product configuration.
